Subhash C. Mitra, MD, MPHDr. Mitra brings an international reputation and a strong background in academic medicine to East Pay Perinatal. A native of Calcutta, Dr. Mitra left India in 1976. In the UK he trained in OB ultrasound and invasive procedures. He completed his Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of British Columbia's Women's and Children's Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Dr. Mitra held academic appointments at the University of Medicine & Dentistry - New Jersey Medical School and Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. At East Bay Perinatal, Dr. Mitra focuses on OB ultrasound, maternal-fetal medicine in addition to management of high-risk pregnancy.
